FRSC deploys 244 personnel for Easter period

The Jigawa State sector command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed 244 of its personnel to ensure safety on all highways of the state during the Easter celebration period.

This was contained in statement issued yesterday by the Sector Head of Operation of the command, DCC Mohammed Taki, saying out of the personnel deployed, 181 were the staff of the corps while 63 others were special marshals.

Meanwhile, the state commissioner of Police (CP), Mr. Bala Zama, has directed all the Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) in the 27 LGAs of the state to remain steadfast and ensure a hitch-free celebration.

The image maker of the command, SP Abdu Jinjiri, said the command had increased the number of patrol teams on all major roads across the state.
