FULafia VC thumps up Buhari on varsity infrastructure

As Nigeria marked its 58th Independence Anniversary, the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Muhammad Sanusi Liman, has expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for its numerous intervention programmes in the university.

Specifically, Liman commended President Muhammadu Buhari, for his keen interest in the development of FULafia.

The vice-chancellor listed some recent projects executed by government in FULafia to include construction of a multidisciplinary research laboratory, multipurpose lecture and office complex, roads and a 500-seat capacity auditorium.

Liman urged Nigerians to pray for peaceful conduct of next year’s elections, unity and development of the country.

In the same vein, Liman felicitated with Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura and the Nasarawa State Government for attaining 22 years since the creation of the state.

He thanked Al-Makura for awarding contracts for construction of roads within the university campus and Federal University Lafia Teaching Hospital (FUTH) Lafia.
