The proprietress of Centagon International School Abuja, Mrs. Nosen Omoluwa, has said that lack of funds is one of the major challenges facing the education sector in the country.
Mrs. Omoluwa, who made the remark in an exclusive interview with Daily Trust, said that if the monies were judiciously spent in the education sector, schools would have been better.
“To me when money is made available and used appropriately in providing learning materials, attractive salaries to teachers and staff, most of the problems facing education sector will be solved,” she said.
She however called for more training for teachers as well as improved students’ engagement and achievement.
