The chairman of the governing council of the institution, Chief Emma Enemuo, made the appeal yesterday during the commissioning of a guest house built by the university.
He said that both the management and governing council of the institution deserve full cooperation of the students in order to carry out their primary assignment aimed at benefiting the students and the university community.
He said that the guest house was built in line with the vision of the governing council of transforming the institution, adding that it will save funds that, otherwise, would be spent on hosting visitors to the university in rented facilities.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Chigozie Asiabaka, assured of management’s commitment to moving the institution forward.
He appealed to the well-to-do in the society and all those who can to patronise the guest house.
