Yobe State Governor Ibrahim Gaidam has approved the appointment of a new chief of staff, Mohammed Nur Alkali.

Alkali, who was Clark of Yobe State House of Assembly, fills the position left by Alhaji Sale Abubakar who was elevated as the state’s Head of Service months ago.

The governor also approved the appointment of Alhaji Mohammed Madaki as the acting Clerk of the Yobe State House of Assembly. 

A statement by the Spokesman of the Secretary to Yobe State Government, Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali, said both appointments took immediate effect.
