Speaking to Trustsports, Galadima wondered why the leadership of the NPL did not see anything wrong in concluding the league on a day all the NFF bigwigs would be out of the country.

He said instead of fix the matches on a Friday, the matches should have either been shifted forward after the match in Monrovia or brought backward for effective co-ordination.

Galadima in addition question why the NPL is going ahead with the final matches without settling the pending case of Ocean Boys.

He said the recent actions of the NPL especially as it has to do with the relegation of Ocean Boys leaves much to be desired.

“I am not comfortable with the decision of the NPL to fix the week 38 matches on a Friday. Since the beginning of the season, no league match has been played on Friday.

“Secondly, the matches are to be played a day before Super Eagles match in Monrovia. Most NFF officials would be in Liberia. As the regulating body, it would be appropriate to have the NFF bigwigs around on the final day of the league.

“Furthermore, NPL is yet to take a final decision on the case of Ocean Boys and they want to end the league. In the spirit of fair play, I call on the NFF to intervene for the right decisions to be taken. It is better to do the right thing at the right time”, he maintained.
