Galaxy Transportation and Construction Services will soon introduce its transport services at the campuses of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Kaduna state to ease the logistics issues encountered by students.

The Managing Director, Engr. Babagana Abba Dalori disclosed this yesterday when he received an award of ‘Icon of Humanitarian Services and Capital Development’ from the ABU Students Representative Council (SRC) in Abuja.

Dalori while appreciating the recognition said the company was inviting ABU students to invest in the project where the investors could buy a seat and receive the profit when the project ends.

He said at the end of the project, the drivers will own the buses as a means to create sustainable employment opportunities and revenue generation for both the students and the drivers.

Dalori also said his company will continue to “support to youth who possess abilities and entrepreneurial acumen putting their ethical values into consideration.”

The representative of the SRC President, Mubarak Usman Jidda said the transport system in the university was in comatose and needed a private transport system to provide a better logistics means.

He said the need to create a robust transport system within the campuses informed the partnership with Galaxy Transport so they can provide efficient means of transport to the students.
