Kano State governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has flagged off the campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, assuring that the party would coast to victory in all the elective positions it is fielding candidates.
The governor made the declaration on Wednesday in Gaya LGA where the campaign was flagged off and the party’s flag was given to the party’s House Representative candidate for Gaya/Ajingi/Albany federal constituency, Mahmud Gaya.
Addressing the mammoth crowd at the venue, the governor said all the candidates of the party were the most qualified while challenging the opposition parties to present the resume of their candidates to see if they can stand those of the APC.
“Our gubernatorial candidate Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has political history similar to mine. He was local government chairman of the most populous local government in Nigeria, Nassarawa Local Government and he was commissioner of agriculture, among other things.
