Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, former Deputy Governor of Kano State and the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 General Elections, has obtained his APC membership registration card.
Gawuna carried out the registration during a visit to Nassarawa Local Government Area, where he went to supervise and assess the ongoing APC membership registration exercise.
He registered at his Local Government under the supervision of the ward registration official.
Speaking during the visit, Dr. Gawuna expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the exercise and commended party officials for their commitment to strengthening the APC at the grassroots level.
He used the opportunity to call on all APC members and supporters across Kano State to come out in large numbers and obtain their party registration cards, describing the exercise as crucial to deepening internal democracy and consolidating the party’s structure ahead of future political engagements.
According to him, mass participation in the registration process will further enhance unity, inclusiveness, and the overall strength of the APC in Kano State.
Dr. Gawuna reaffirmed his continued commitment to the ideals and progress of the APC, stressing that a strong grassroots base remains the backbone of the party’s success.
