The lawyers, Lebo-Albert Ekito Alfred Esq and Halima Ikuji Gaya, while briefing newsmen on Tuesday, alleged that six persons, who were arrested in connection with the incident, have been released on bail.

They said they believe there is an attempt by the investigating police officers to cover up the matter because the evidence available from the autopsy and the witness, a female, who heard the conversation shortly before the killing, are with security agencies without action being taken.

Alfred said, “The police made us know that on the arrest of the parties involved and those who were suspects in the murder of the deceased, were found with guns.”

However, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force, FCT Commandant, Josephine Adeh, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the person in-charge of the case was not available.
