Mr. Gbadegesin Yemi Hezekiah  has been appointed as acting director-general and chief executive officer of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT).
Gbadegesin took over from Dr. Ighodalo Folorunso Ijagbone who has just completed his second five-year tenure.
Mr. Gbadegesin was born on May 5th, 1965. He hails from Otu, Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State.  He attended Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) between 2006 and 2009; Lagos State University Ojoo, Lagos 2001; The Polytechnic Ibadan, 1986-1992 and Baptist Grammar School Otu, 1980-1985, where he bagged MSc. Medical Microbiology, PGD Medical Microbiology, HND Microbiology (SLT), OND SLT and SCCE, respectively.
Prior to his new position as acting registrar, director-general and chief executive officer of the institute, he was the assistant registrar and director, education, training and inspectorate.
