The Governing Council of the Federal University, Kashere has approved the appointment of  Bldr. Abubakar Dikko as Director, Works and Physical Planning.
The appointment, according to a statement from the university, takes effect from the date he assumed duty.
Bldr. Abubakar Dikko started his early education at Bindigali Primary School, Damaturu, Yobe State, in 1979 and Government Technical College Gaidam, from 1990 to 1994, and Federal Polytechnic Damaturu.
He also attended Federal College of Education (Technical) Gombe from 1990 to 1994 and Federal Polytechnic Damaturu from 1999 to 2000.
Bldr. Dikko holds B.Tech. Building Technology Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi in 2006 and 2013 respectively.
He started his working career as a classroom teacher at Government Girls College Damaturu in 1994 and rose to the rank of vice principal in 2006.
