Ghanaian farmers embrace orange-flesh sweet potato farming

Farmers across several communities in Nabdam, Ghana, are to take up large scale cultivation of orange flesh sweet potato farming.
A cross section of the farmers said at a Stakeholders Platform Forum, organized by the Participatory Action for Rural Development Alternatives (PARDA) that through the sand pit method for storage and processing, they could store the crop for six months enabling them find better markets.
