Kannywood multiple award winning actor Ali Nuhu has named a 9 year-old girl, Husna Sani as his 2016 Fan of the Year.

Recalled that few months ago Husna wrote a letter to the actor telling him about her dream of meeting him.

The girl explained that she wrote the letter from Tsamiyar Boko, Hotoro in Kano to express her admiration to the actor.

She stated that she along with her siblings and parent loves watching his movies and that she hopes to meet him soon.

This promted the the actor to arrange a meeting with the girl where she read the letter to him in person..

Nuhu who was also the Managing Director of FKD Film Productions said he named the girl as his 2016 fan of the year because he was able to have impact on the lives of the young Nigerians.

"To be honest, when I saw her letter I was amazed. I said wow! I told myself you are on the right track. You have an impact on a 9 year old girl. And that gave me courage and confidence to continue my good work.

" It also makes me to be cautious as now I am role model to young ones, therefore people are watching and learning from us," he said.
