The Director, Niger State Ministry of Gender Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Ruth Kai, has said that qualitative and productive education should not be seen as a privilege for the girl-child but as a right, enshrined in Section 7, Sub-section 1 and 2 of the Niger State Childs’ Rights Law 2010.
She stated this recently at a one-day seminar organized by Higher National Diploma (HND1) Mass Communication students of the Federal Polytechnic Bida.
