Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has donated relief items worth N10 million to displaced families in insurgency-ravaged Borno State. The donation was done in Dikwa, Mafa, Jere, Kalabalge, Konduga, Ngala, Bama and Muna camps in the state. ASUU Chairman, University of Maiduguri branch, Dr. Abdu Dauda, said during the distribution exercise in Maiduguri that the items were procured by the headquarters of the union, adding that the sum of N20, 000,000 was earmarked for the displaced persons in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states. The items included foodstuff and medication.
