GIZ to improve agriculture, SME in Nigeria

The German International Corporation (GIZ) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with two private sector partners towards improving agriculture and Small Scale Enterprises in Niger State.

The Head of Private Sector Development Unit-GIZ/SEDIN Programme, SinaUti-Wazir, signed on behalf of German corporation while Malam Musa Salihu Bawa Bosso represented African Youth Empowerment in Agriculture and Industrial Development. Alhaji Muhammad Awal sits in for Technology Incubation Center, Minna.

Uti-Wazir explained that the MoU would focus on the training of staff of the two organizations with close monitoring in order to achieve the target objective. 

She said already 100 applicants for the programme have undergone business orientation coaching session, out of whom 30 beneficiaries would graduate later in the year.
