The telcos also said it will afford the customers an opportunity of a duet with their favorite Glo ambassadors in the new promo that was recently launched.  
The promo is an Interactive Voice Response that features a 45 seconds song, poem and joke contest among Glo subscribers all dedicated to their families, the company said in a statement.
Mr. Viswanath Nagasai, Globacom’s Head of Value added Service (VAS) said in the statement that “ten other Nigerians will sign a contract to have their songs on Globacom’s Caller Ring Back tune, giving them an opportunity to earn revenue from every chosen song downloaded by subscribers as their Caller-Ring-Back-Tune.”
To participate in the promo, subscribers are urged to dial a short code 54887 to record and upload their 45-second song, poem or a joke for N50 on the portal. The subscriber will then receive an SMS with his individual ID number (54888xxxxx). This number could be dialed to vote for the participant. N20 is charged per vote. Voters are also rewarded with millions of prizes.
