The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Femi Adesina, has described the Laffta Fest comedy show organized by the telecommunication operator, Globacom, as one that is “stylishly organized” and has “therapeutic effects” on Nigerians.

Adesina made the assertion at the Kubwa, Abuja edition of the comedy show held at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria.

In a statement made available to Daily Trust by the organisers, Adesina was quoted as saying that the Glo Laffta Fest is a show that affords Nigerians the opportunity of letting their hair down and relaxing.

According to the organizers, a total of 13 comedians made up of six professional acts and seven upcoming artistes thrilled the audience with thematic enactments bordering on good citizenship, religious conducts, healthy living, sundry existentialist problems and coping strategies.

In the list of up-and-coming acts were: Headmaster Steve, Sergeant Keita, Miracle, Phantom AY, MC Humble Igwe, Charly White and Mr. Steve. 

MC Humble Igwe was the clear revelation of the night. He was described as one that came fully prepared with a huge suitcase full of props and delivered hit upon hit of original jokes, beginning with  jabs at his own short stature.
