Oni joins Precious, Am Ok, Oluwakemi, Lynn, and Vickiola who were previously evicted from  the show. Still gunning for the $100,000 and a Rav4 winner-takes-all-prize are Christina, Vicky, T-Songz and Mattade.

Oni thanked Nigerians and Africa as she took her seat among the audience like her fellow ex contestants. She would later say, she is not dismayed by her ouster even though it would have been good taking home the winnings.

She expressed excitement over the opportunity to showcase her talents on the show and says, she is exploiting the vast opportunities of participating on the show to better her career.

After Oni left the show, the contest began again from the top four. Mattade started with an R&B groove of Chris Brown’s ‘She Ain’t You’. He struggled with the song, and most judges on the show found his act awkward.

Vicky performed Mary .J. Blige’s ‘Without You’. Her beautiful vocal rendition of the Grammy-award winning song left the audience impressed. Vicky who had earlier said, “Choosing and delivering a song are two different things though this week’s song choice would not be as challenging as last week”. A member of the audience applauded Vicky for her use and management of the stage. She also got rave reviews from the judges at the end of the show.

Next was Tee Songz, singing ‘Miss Independence’ by Ne-Yo. Looking the part of a performer, Tee Songz was able to impress the audience who gave him a standing ovation.

Following the international R&B theme was Christian with Lionel Richie’s ‘Angel’, which one member of the audience described as a brilliant performance, adding that the message of the song was believable and not just a performance.

The second half of the show saw the Top 4 singing Nigerian contemporary hits. First was Mattade who sang very drably P-Square’s ‘No One’.

Vicky, singing ‘In The Music’ by Omawumi, got the audience moving and applauding her performance and vocals, with an audience member describing it as “amazing”.

Tee Songz, singing ‘Sisi Eko’ by Dare Art-Alade to a deafening applause, and an audience member saying “you have a way of doing and singing your songs and wowing the audience” and a second described his performance as “mesmerizing”.

Closing the night’s performance was Christian with ‘True Love’ by Tuface Idibia. The studio audience was quite pleased with his performance and described it as “a lovely performance”.

Last week’s guest judge, Naeto C was up first with his lowlights and said Mattade failed to impress him. “It was a cross between picking the wrong songs on both accounts and you couldn’t deliver or make it believable”. Moving on to his highlight, Naeto C gave it up for Tee Songz, “you have the ability to charm both sexes. You are funny and expressive and I was rocking to those songs with you, so I’ll advise the rest of you to learn from him.”

Resident Judge Onyeka said “I have to agree with Naeto C, Mattade, there was an improvement with the second song but there was still no dynamic and no vocal strength”.

She said Christian remained on low ebb all through his two performances, “you seem to have forgotten and gone back to the old Christian”. Tee Songz also remained a real top performer for her; she even described him as “superb. I think you are a smart guy because you know how to get the women on your side”. Moving on to Vicky, whom Onyeka described as “something special.” She said, “I think you will go on to do great things in Nigerian music”.

Finally, Olisa signed off with his low lights saying to Mattade “I don’t understand why and how you are still in this competition and I was trying to look for the positive in both performances and I just couldn’t find it.”
