Telecommunications company Globacom and electronics giant Samsung have launched an exclusive pre-order offer for the newly released Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 smartphones in Nigeria.
The unveiling, which took place at Glo’s corporate headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Tuesday, attracted Glo subscribers, special guests, and representatives of both companies.
As part of the offer, subscribers who pre-order either device will receive 18GB of free data from Glo, alongside gift items valued at up to N1.2 million.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7, described as the slimmest and lightest in the series, and the Flip 7, which features an expanded cover screen and enhanced AI-powered FlexWindow, are now available for pre-order exclusively at Gloworld retail outlets across the country.
Samsung’s Head of Product Marketing, Stephen Okwarah, noted that the partnership with Glo has consistently yielded strong sales performance in Nigeria. He also highlighted the new features of the smartphones aimed at users seeking premium mobile experiences.
Globacom’s Head of Division (West), Abdulrazaq Ande, said the collaboration reflects Glo’s commitment to innovation. “With our fiber-optic expansion and smart digital solutions, we’re building the future of digital life in Nigeria — and doing so with world-class partners,” he said.
At the event, several customers placed early orders for the devices. One of them, Idowu Emmanuel, a telecoms dealer, won a 55-inch Samsung QLED TV during a lucky dip.
Pre-orders for the devices are ongoing at all Gloworld outlets nationwide.
