The ECOWAS agriculture, agro-allied and technology exhibition which was earlier slated to hold in March 2016, has now been shifted to October 2016.
A statement signed by Dr. Bawa Garba,  Chairman  of the  Global Exhibition and Business Services Limited, organizer of the event, said the postponement has become necessary following several requests received by the international participants for a new date for the event.
According to him, the organiser has given the request for the postponement a critical assessment including their levels of preparedness and has resolved that in the interest of the objectives for which this exhibition was planned to achieve, the participants’ views be given adequate consideration.
“It shall now take place from 7th to 16th October 2016,” the statement reads in part.
Key international stakeholders in the agricultural sector and agro-allied industries are to show-case their technology in the week-long agro fiesta at the Kaduna International Trade Fair Complex.
