A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), the Grassroots Mobilizers for Better Nigeria Initiative (GMBNI), has celebrated Nafisa Abdullahi, a 17-year-old student from Yobe State, who emerged victorious at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals in London.

In a statement, GMBNI founder, Amb. Dr. Fatima Mohammed Goni, congratulated Abdullahi and her teammates on their achievement, describing it as a source of pride for Nigeria.

She also commended former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for supporting the winners with scholarships, noting that his gesture would serve as an inspiration to the younger generation.

Goni reaffirmed her organisation’s commitment to empowering less privileged and vulnerable children across the country, regardless of tribe, religion, or ethnicity.
