Over 100 golfers and their families gathered in Uyo for the annual All White Golf Tournament, marking the end of the 2024 golf season at the Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort in Akwa Ibom State.

Since its inception in 2017, the All White Golf Tourney has grown into a cherished tradition for Nigerian golfers, initiated by the former Club Captain, Hon. Usenobong Akpabio.

The tournament’s primary aim is to foster a sense of community among golfers and members of the Ibom Golf Club, blending competitive play with camaraderie and celebration. The event featured exciting golf matches, a lively party, delectable food, and the recognition of outstanding monthly winners.

Speaking about the tournament’s significance, the current Club Captain, Mr. Isua Archibong, said, “The All White is always a very special occasion. It’s a time for us to come together, celebrate God’s grace, and give thanks despite the year’s challenges. It’s also a period when our members, including those living outside Akwa Ibom or abroad, return home for the holidays. It’s truly a unique and joyous time.”
