Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has said his track record in public service will speak for him ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The former minister is said to be eyeing the governorship seat in Gombe State.

During the unveiling of  projects and programmes executed during his time in office, Pantami said he implemented thousands of initiatives across Nigeria within four years.

The former minister explained that many of the initiatives focused on digital transformation, youth empowerment and economic development, with particular emphasis on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

He said the projects are spread across the federation to ensure inclusiveness and national impact, stressing that no state was deliberately excluded.

One of his staunch supporters,  a retired Commissioner of Police, Stephen Audu, expressed support for Pantami’s ambition, citing his numerous achievements in office.

“We are proud of his contributions, especially the meaningful projects executed both in Gombe and across the country,” he said.
