Nasarawa United’s bid to move out to safety has again hit the rocks after drawing 1-1 with visiting Gombe United at the New Jos Stadium in Match Day 14 of the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League yesterday.
Both teams had creating goal chances but failed to take their chances in the first half as it ended 0-0.
The second half began in the same fashion but in the 71st minute, Gombe United broke the deadlock to lead by 1-0.
But in the 85th minute, Nasarawa United’s Francis Ayuba slotted hone the equaliser during an aerial contest in the box as the game ended 1-1.
The Solid Miners are placed 9th on the Group A table with 10 points from 14 games while Gombe United are 6th with 18 points.
