Good result more important than clean sheet — Enyeama

Enyeama’s run of three consecutive clean sheets in the French Ligue 1 was brought to an end by Dimitar Berbatov as Monaco forced Lille to a 1-1 draw last weekend.
The goal ended his run of over 330 minutes of not conceding a goal since the start of the French league.
The former Iwuanyanwu Nationale player who turned 32 last week has kept out Metz, Caen and Lorient before Berbatov broke his run with a 61st minute equaliser for Monaco.
Aside from conceding, he was also yellow carded in the 41st minute of play.
The Lille goalkeeper who missed yesterday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier due to family issues added that he hopes to keep improving every day in order to enhance Eagles and French club Lille chances on the pitch.
“Clean sheets aren’t important if the results do not favour your team, so the major thing is to keep improving everyday so as to help your team” Enyeama said in a message to Fever Pitch.
Enyeama still holds the club record for the most clean sheets after two opening games of the season and last season he was 114 minutes away from equaling the all-time record of longest clean sheet in the French Ligue 1.
