There are many bad roads across Nigeria, and the case of Jigawa State is not different. Many lives are lost daily due to the poor state of roads, which is why I am calling on Governor Abubakar  Badaru  to reconstruct the roads linking many local government areas in the state. These roads have been in bad shape due to flood. The most affected is the Kafin-Hausa to Auyo road.

In fact the road has become a death trap, with many lives lost and vehicles damaged. The road also leads to the town where the state university, (Sule Lamido University Kafin-Hausa) is located. Furthermore, the roads serve as a means of transporting farm produce and livestock from rural to urban areas.

The reconstruction of the road will also create job opportunities for people of the state and its environs.  I also urge the governor to appeal to the federal government for the reconstruction of the Gaya-Jahun-Kafin-Hausa-Bauchi federal road. This road links many states of the North-west and North-east geopolitical zones and it has been in bad shape for many years. Please come to our aid.
