In fulfillment of his campaign promise, Governor Umo Eno, has authorized the immediate release of N1.4 billion for further payment of gratuities.

The breakdown of the payment is as follows: N900 million for retired State Civil servants and N500million for retired primary school teachers.

The release of the additional N1.4 billion brings the total amount of gratuities paid so far by the governor, ten months after his inauguration to N16.1 billion.

This gesture, will undoubtedly help our retirees cushion the harsh effects of the current economic situation in the country.
