The Adamawa State Government has announced plans to construct a five-kilometre internal road network within Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, to ease transportation challenges and further strengthen educational development in the state.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri disclosed this on Saturday while speaking at the combined 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremony of the University held in Yola.
The Governor explained that the project is part of his administration’s commitment to sustaining collaboration with the Federal Government and improving infrastructure in tertiary institutions across Adamawa State.
Governor Fintiri attended the convocation alongside his Cross River State counterpart, Prince Bassey Edet Otu, as well as other distinguished personalities from within and outside the state.
