Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River has approved the establishment of the patronage cash reward called “paradise token.”

Speaking at the stakeholders engagement event on Monday in Calabar, Director General of Cross River State Lottery and Gaming Agency, Michael Eja, thanked the Governor for approving the project.

He described it as a creative and laudable initiative aimed at increasing patronage for business owners and cash reward benefits for customers.

He further explained that whenever customers patronize any business selling any product or service in Cross River State that offers the “Paradise token”, the customer will get a cash back reward and also stand a chance to win between five thousand naira and one hundred million naira on the weekly draws.

This he said will increase the happiness index of the people of Cross River State.

He further explained that as the head of a regulatory Agency (Cross River State Lottery and Gaming Agency ) he will ensure that winners get paid from the weekly draw to foster Transparency and Accountability from the part of the technical partners “ Cash Token Africa”

Also speaking at the event was the chairman of Cross River State Internal Revenue Service Prince Edwin Okon, who commended the initiative by saying “this innovation is a welcome idea and aligns with the goals of enhancing the overall well being of our citizens through wealth redistribution , job creation and stimulating economic activities in the state. ”

He further emphasized that businesses that gift “Paradise Token” to their customers will get tax incentives and waivers at the beginning of the year when filing tax returns in State.

The Technology Partners “ Cash Token Africa “ Represented by Miss Stella Oshorinde and Miss Simileoluwa Daphine further expanciated on the benefits of “Paradise Token” for all the stakeholders and expressed their commitment towards ensuring a smooth integration and handshake with all the relevant government agencies involved in making the project a success.

Mr. George Ekoro, Head Business Development, Unical Microfinance Bank, expressed his enthusiasm and which the implementation can start as soon as possible as well the super agent of Betking Kodeye Inyang who express 100% support for the initiative.

Present at the stakeholders engagement where representatives of businesses and companies like Access Bank , Fidelity Bank , Sterling Bank , Crisspy Chiken , Hogies Hotel , Bet Bonanza , Bet King and Unical Micro Finance Bank.
