Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has appointed 15 new Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and a General Manager for the state’s Hotels Board “to boost his administration’s commitment to delivering transformative governance across the state.”
The appointments, confirmed on August 2, 2025, strategically position experienced professionals across key sectors to advance the Governor’s “Building Your Future” agenda and ensure effective service delivery to the people of Katsina State.
The new appointees are Hajiya Aisha Barda, SSA on school feeding; Hon. Musa Ado Faskari, SSA on Community Development Programme (CDP), who doubles as the Programme Coordinator, Faskari/Kankara/Sabuwa Federal Constituency; as well as Hon. Nu’uman Imam Muhammed l, SSA on CDP and the Programme’s Coordinator, Batagarawa/Charanchi/Rimi Federal Constituency.
Others are Hon. Dr. Habibu AbdulKadir, SSA on CDP and the Programme’s Coordinator, Matazu/Musawa Federal Constituency; Hon. Ali Mamman Bakori, SSA on CDP and the Programme’s Coordinator, Bakori/Danja Federal Constituency; and Hon. Labaran Magaji Ingwawa, SSA on CDP and the Programme’s Coordinator, Ingawa/Kankia/Kusada Federal Constituency.
Also appointed are Hon. Bishir Sabi’u, SSA on CDP and the Programme’s Coordinator, Jibia/Kaita Federal Constituency; Hon. Murtala Adamu Baure – SSA on CDP and the Programme’s Coordinator, Baure/Zango Federal Constituency; and Hon. Yusuf Mamman Ifo, SSA on CDP and the Programme’s Coordinator, Batsari/Danmusa/Safana Federal Constituency.
Hon. Sanusi Dangi Abbas – SSA on Security Matters, Hon. Faruk Hayatu – SSA on Youth Development, Hon. Bala Garba Tsanni – SSA on Social Development and Hon. Musa Maikudi -SSA on Party Affairs also made the list.
Moreover, Hon. Aminu Ashiru Kofar Sauri was appointed as SSA on SPIME; Hon. Mannir Shehu Wurma, SSA on Media and Publicity; while Hon. Rabi’u Aliyu Kusada was appointed as General Manager, Hotels Board.
