Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, yesterday, described President Muhammad Buhari’s victory at the tribunal as “victory against falsehood.”

The governor, through a statement by his Director-General, Strategic Communication and Press Affairs, Mr Yakubu Lamai, said the verdict of the tribunal reaffirmed that “truth will always triumph over falsehood.”

He said the judgement has affirmed that Buhari was not only eminently qualified but that he also won the 2019 presidential election and scored the majority of lawful votes cast.

Also, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume (Borno South, APC) has said that the tribunal verdict vindicated millions of Nigerians who after the elections admonished Atiku not to go to court against Buhari’s victory at the poll as the presidential election was cleanly won by the latter.

Senator Ndume said the tribunal judgement did not just confirm the faith and support of millions who thronged to vote President Buhari for a second term in office, but a resounding victory for the country’s democracy.

“The judgement only vindicated millions of Nigerians who admonished Atiku not to go court to contest against Buhari’s victory at the poll as the election was free and fair.

He urged Buhari to remain steadfast in his big quest to take Nigeria to the next level.

Similarly, the National Coordinator, Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO), Alhaji Danladi Pasali, has said that the tribunal ruling on the 2019 presidential election was a victory for democracy and Nigerians.
