Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has pledged to assist a lady, Miss Eunice Inja Yakubu, who is battling cancer.
The Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Youth Affairs and NGOs, Kwanta Yakubu, said the governor has instructed the Chief Medical Director of Government House Clinic to immediately investigate and advise the government on swift measures to take to rescue the health condition of the graduate of Mass Communication from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK).
He said Miss Eunice is presently battling cancer of the face at ABU University Teaching Hospital, Zaria.
The aide said the state government would render every support she needs to enable her recover fully.
