Following the recent killings and displacement of people in some communities of Plateau State, a Non-Governmental Organization, Community Action for Popular Participation (CAPP) has called on both the state and the federal government to speed up the resettlement process of the displaced persons.

Speaking when the organization visited some IDP camps in Barkin Ladi and Bokkos local government areas, with some relief materials, its Acting Executive Director, Nelson Ananze, said rebuilding the affected communities and resettling of victims would not only reduce their trauma but help to nip the incessant violence in the bud.

Ananze stressed that since the victims have been traumatized, psychotherapy was also imperative so that they can forget the past and begin to live normal lives.
