Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has allocated 10 vehicles and 50 motorcycles to the Joint Task Force (JTF) to strengthen security operations in the state.
The intervention is designed to enhance mobility, response time, and overall operational efficiency, particularly in the frontline local government areas of Kiru, Tsanyawa, Kunchi, Ghari, Shanono, Tudun Wada, and Doguwa.
According to a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the handover ceremony was held at the Government House, Kano.
The allocation letter was presented by the Director, Special Services, Umar Baba Zubairu, who represented the Director General, Special Services, Major General Sani Muhammad (rtd).
Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritising security and supporting collaborative initiatives aimed at safeguarding lives and property across the state.
