The process began when on Monday, July 14, the state legislators suddenly reconvened from their recess and passed a resolution on a 16-count charge to investigate Governor Almakura based on what they described as “gross misconduct” and “impeachable offences.

The panel is God’s design for either the governor or the Nasarawa house of assembly whichever way it goes, the panel is not a tool in the hands of the Legislators

Is there any constitutional requirement for members of the panel? If not the lawmakers should allow the panel do their job. If the governor is not guilty, he should be commended and allowed to do his job. PDP should stop using impeachment to bullying opposition. A governor surrounded by opposition legislators should be exceptionally diligent and above board.
