Since the assuming office, Governor Fintiri has turned Adamawa into a vast construction site. Over 300 kilometres of roads have been constructed or rehabilitated, connecting remote towns to urban markets, enhancing trade, and cutting down travel times. Projects like the Bajabure road network have opened up entire housing estates, while electrification and clean water supply schemes have reached previously underserved areas. In places like Chochi and Madagali, embankment protections and stormwater drainages are actively preventing seasonal floods that have plagued communities for years.
The Governor’s infrastructural push is not limited to roads and bridges. Modern public facilities are springing up to meet the evolving needs of the people. The Yola Town Modern Market now hosts nearly 1,000 shops, creating jobs and supporting thousands of micro-businesses.
