The wife of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Hajia Rashidat Bello has flagged off a Direct Reach out Project targeted at empowering 10,000 vulnerable people in the state.

At the flag-off in Okene during the weekend, Mrs Bello said the initiative was being carried out under her pet programme, Kogi Women and Youth Advancement Foundation (KOWYAF), to touch the lives of the less-privileged.

She said the programme which would be carried out across the 21 local government areas of the state, would include giving out  soft loans and food stuffs to the people.
