Gov’s wife tasks schools to promote agriculture

The wife of Benue State governor, Eunice Erdoo Ortom, has called on basic and secondary schools to teach farming techniques to ensure food security.
Mrs. Ortom gave the charge at the weekend while officially unveiling the fish farm at Tophill Schools, Wuse Abuja, during her 15th Graduation and Speech and Prize Diving Day.
Represented by Mrs. Mercy Iyortyer, she said that the manifesto of the ruling party has diversification of the economy as one of its objectives, saying schools should pay attention to agriculture.
