The government of Pakistan has condemned the Indian brutalities and gross violations of human rights in the occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan, in a statement, asked India to refrain from the killings, warning that if it continues to neglect the aspirations of the people of South Asia, it will have repercussions for regional peace, stability and harmony.
“The inhuman use of force by the Indian authorities against unarmed civilians is unacceptable for the civilized world and continues to challenge international conscience,” it said.
The statement said the United Nations’ support for their right to self-determination is a testimony that the international community considers India’s occupation as illegal and the struggle of Kashmiris for freedom as a legitimate right.
“Increasing troop’s level in occupied Kashmir is not the solution to the problem and will not accrue the envisage suppression of Kashmiri sentiments,” it added.
When contacted, the India High Commission in Nigeria said its government would react in due course.
