A former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Saddique Baba Abubakar, has said that government can tackle the problems of insecurity in the country using a multifaceted and multidimensional approach.
Sadique who is the governorship candidate of the APC stated this in Bauchi over the weekend when he interacted with newsmen.

He said, “The fight against insecurity should be economical, political and physical. If we take the multifaceted approach, the war will be won by tackling socioeconomic, political and physical approach to the problems.”
Sadique commended the federal government for the physical approach by making funds available to procure required equipment to fight insecurity in the country, stressing that collaboration was most important in the fight.
He said the main focus of the APC was how to defeat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
He assured that, if he was eventually elected as the governor in 2023, his administration would adopt the multifaceted approach to securing Bauchi State in order to maintain the peace in the State.
Saddique commended the delegates for believing in his abilities to be the party’s flag bearer in the 2023 general elections, assuring that he would not let them down.
