The Federal Government has been called upon to encourage people doing agricultural businesses by giving tax and financial incentives so that the business can become attractive and more people can come in and invest.
This call was made in Kaduna by Turner Wright Limited, the Nigerian partner of Merial S.A.S. company in France, Dr. TundeLawal, at the launch of Topline product for livestock protection against ticks, biting flies and other diseases.
Speaking at the product launch, Dr. Lawal, said there is the need to tackle any diseases that can hamper livestock business, noting that doing big time animal rearing will make one to get more value from the investment.
 Dr. Lawal explained that the economic focus of the federal government now should be on how to move away from the dependence on oil and work towards genuine diversification of the nation’s economy, adding that  agricultural business still remains the immediate handy option.
