Govt tasks parents on immunisation

Parents and caregivers have been charged to produce their children who are less than 5 years of age for immunisation as the Kaduna State Government, in collaboration with development partners, commences another round of polio immunisation campaigns.

Daily Trust on Sunday learnt the exercise is scheduled for March 2 to 5, 2024 and will be conducted by vaccinators during house-to-house visits and immunization on the streets, worship centres, markets, and motor parks, among others.

A joint statement issued by the Coordinator Immunization Against Polio (JAP), Lawal Dogara, said the immunization is in collaboration with Kaduna State Primary Health Care Development Board.
