Muhammadu Adagbo, a traditional title holder of Anah settlement of Doma Local Government Area which suffered series of bloody invasions between January and April this year, said in his submission, last Friday, that the community is deeply worried that the government has developed the penchant for setting commissions of inquiry.
 The submissions by Anah community continued yesterday, with the appearance of two witnesses whose presentations and cross examination were still ongoing at press time.  
 Adagbo said the same government had demonstrated lack of commitment to implementing findings made by previous commissions of inquiry that investigated the activities of the suspected Ombatse group. He said this had removed his people’s confidence in government’s affirmed commitment to the present commission.
 He said in Hausa, during cross examination by the commission’s lawyer, Mrs. Funso Lawal, that the reports of two previous commissions failed to come out, and that no arrests were ever made for prosecution of those alleged to have perpetrated the murder of dozens of Anah people and others in 2012 and 2013.
 Adagbo, who alleged that “Ombatse militia group” invaded Anah where they slaughtered Alago people with machetes, and then shouted “Ombatse”, (Eggon for time has come), pleaded that this time, both government and security agencies should be committed to implementing the commission’s findings.
 However, Commission’s chairman, Justice Gbadeyan told the witness that it is not the business of his commission, whether or not government and security agencies failed to implement findings of previous commissions, and asked him to limit himself to his submission.
