The GreyHeart consultancy has launched a medical concierge initiative to offer home based health care services to the aged, post-surgery as well as other outpatients in Nigeria.
The team led by Dr. Adaeze Ibekweh at a media session in Lagos said Grey heart comprises of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and residential assistants that provide affordable palliative health care to its clients in the comfort of their homes.
The medical concierge is a scheme aimed at bringing the best and efficient medical care right to the patient’s door step, Ibekweh said.
She said: “The medical concierge is a unit of trained professionals that provide palliative home care to patients in the comfort of their homes ranging from elderly patients to surgical stay homes.
“The objective of the medical concierge is to provide whatever patients need without them having to go to a hospital. Our services take care of basic CPR and homecare assistance, and in the case of an emergency, the team is equipped and capable of handling the crisis, delivering needed first aid treatment before the full appropriate medical attention can be gotten from a full medical facility of the patient’s choice.”
She said the services which is available 24 hours of the day throughout the week, including weekends, with staff and medical specialists running shifts between day and night schedules.
Ibekweh noted that through this initiative, Greyyheart plans to nurture sick persons back to good health and prolong needed life expectancy.
