The Arewa Youth Consultative Council (AYCC), Bauchi State chapter has flagged off a charity project to immortalise the late famous armed robbery hunter, Ali Kwara. 

The first phase of the project featured the distribution of school uniforms to 50 orphans and vulnerable pupils across the 20 local government areas of Bauchi State. 

Ambassador  Usama Ibrahim Aliyu said the project is tagged “Ali Kwara Charity  Project” to provide succour to the orphans  and less privileged in the society. 

He said the distribution of school uniforms will start with Katagum Local Government Area followed by Itas/Gadau.. 

Usama said the beneficiaries were identified by the communities and schools’ head teachers. 

Late Ali Kwara was from Azare, Katagum Local Government Area of Bauchi State and was famous for his efforts to rid the society of criminals.
