Oron Patriots lauded Maritime Academy rector, Joshua Okpo, for transforming the school into a world-class institution, and helping it overcome problems of infrastructure that have bedevilled it for years.
“Within a few months in office, the rector has provided a high moral standard bringing discipline among the teaching and non teaching staff, and also fashioned a cordial relationship between the management and the cadets in the Academy,” said the group’s president Okokon Eyoh, while briefing newsmen in Uyo on Tuesday.
He listed the many achievements to include completion of more academic buildings and providing computer training programme in collaboration with Oron Patriots.
