A group under the aegis of Kogi Central Community Development Association (KCCDA) has appealed to the Kogi State Government and security agencies to perfect urgent measures to checkmate increasing cases of killing of targeted people by yet to be identified gunmen.
The group in a statement issued in Okene yesterday by its president, Comrade Musa Adinoyi Isah, said in spite of efforts of Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration to ensure peace and security in the area, some elements were perpetuating incessant killings.
Isah called on traditional rulers, community heads and other stakeholders from Kogi Central to rise and halt the trend.
