A political support organisation, the New Nigeria Initiative for Better Leadership and Ambassadors of Renewed Hope Agenda (ARHA), has pledged to mobilise nationwide support for the programmes and policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing his Renewed Hope Agenda as a roadmap for national rebirth and economic recovery.

Briefing newsmen in Abuja, the group’s National Leader, High Chief Adolph Agbala-Izuegbu (KSJI), said the initiative was founded to promote the vision and developmental priorities of the Tinubu administration, which he described as “people-centric and transformative.”

Agbala-Izuegbu said the Renewed Hope Agenda seeks to liberate Nigerians from economic hardship and create a more equitable society where no citizen is superior to another.

He noted that the organisation’s independent research shows that the administration’s policies, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy and the harmonisation of foreign exchange rates, were bold but necessary reforms to stabilise the economy and restore transparency in governance.

According to him, President Tinubu’s approach has brought “a breath of fresh air” to the nation through strategic interventions in key sectors such as infrastructure, education, and poverty alleviation.

He cited the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, the rehabilitation of major roads, the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, and the expansion of technical and vocational training as evidence of the administration’s focus on sustainable growth and youth empowerment.

The group also commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for aligning with the President’s development agenda through massive infrastructural renewal projects that have transformed Abuja into what it described as “a world-class city.”

Agbala-Izuegbu said the group has begun establishing branches across all 36 states of the federation as part of efforts to deepen public understanding of the Renewed Hope Agenda. He explained that mass mobilisation remains central to the organisation’s strategy to ensure that citizens appreciate and benefit from the administration’s policies.

He emphasised that nation-building requires patience, collaboration, and sustained effort, commending President Tinubu for demonstrating “visionary leadership, tact, and passion” in steering the country through challenging times.

“Nation building is not a hundred-metre dash,” he said. “It is a painstaking process. We have seen these qualities in President Tinubu, and that is why we stand with him. Together, we can build a prosperous and inclusive nation for all.”
